According to a news article I just read, taller people make more money. What? That amazed me. I have read where pretty people make more money but not taller people. Yet, according to a study that was done in Australia, a man 6 feet tall makes about 1.000 dollars more a year than a man 2 inches shorter.
According to a study done in Great Britain and the United States of 2,000 men, a man made 789 dollars per inch per year more. There is nothing else about them that comes into play. They are not prettier. There doesn’t seem to be anything else. That is it.
Timothy Judge a professor of management at the University of Florida, along with his colleagues, said that according to their study, a man seven inches taller would make 5,525 dollar more per year than someone who is 5 feet 5 inches. Height seems to be more important than gender. According to one person doing the study, taller people seems to exude more leadership. The average height of men in American is 5 foot 9 inches and a woman is 5 foot 4 inches.
It seems that the mind set of the early man is still with us. When people still lived in jungles and on the plains, the tallest of the men were chosen as leaders because it was thought, that they could protect their people better.
William McKinley who became president of the United States in 1897 was only 5 foot 7 inches and was ridiculed in the press as being a little boy. James Madison was the shortest president at 5 feet 4 inches. It seems that the tallest president was Abraham Lincoln was was 6 foot 4 inches. In fact, not many presidents of this country have been 6 feet tall.
Hey, it is time for people to get some wedges to put into their shoes if they aren’t at least six feet tall. Either that or one can do stretches to gain height. That has been proven.
No one can convince me that a taller person is smarter than anyone who is a lot shorter. It seems that intellect is what should be considered.
